Graham and Newton were arrested and taken to the Lincoln Parish Detention Center. Graham was booked on a warrant for failure to appear in court on a theft by shoplifting charge. Bail was set at $1,000.
Newton was booked on bench warrants for failure to appear in court on charges of illegal possession of stolen things, no driver’s license, no seat belt, expired inspection sticker, switched license plates, distribution of Schedule II and Schedule III controlled substances, and disturbing the peace by fighting. She was also booked for resisting an officer by providing false information at the time of the investigation. Bail was set at $501,000, according to Newton’s booking record.
