James Michael Gilmore, born February 20, 1961, passed away on June 23, 2024, at North Louisiana Medical Center. He was 63 years old.

Mike spent his early career in the oil field and later developed into a skilled mechanic. He had a passion for working on vehicles and was dedicated to his craft. Mikey’s fun-loving personality left indelible memories for anyone he met.

He is survived by his son, Michael Wayne Gilmore, granddaughter’s, Kinsley Elizabeth and Oaklynn Grace Gilmore, and his niece, Connie Givens, along with Connie’s family. He was preceded in death by his son, James Cage Gilmore, and his sister, Theresa Brown. He was also preceded in death by his parents, James A. Gilmore, Mary Joyce Reynolds, and Thomas Lamar Reynolds.

Mike will be remembered fondly by his step-mother, Patricia D. Gilmore, and other relatives and friends.
