Louisiana Tech Women’s Soccer Head Coach Steve Voltz has announced the 2024 soccer schedule, setting the stage for the upcoming season.
“Our 2024 schedule challenges us tremendously early on with several tough road games and quality opponents at home,” said head coach Steve Voltz. “This will provide us with the opportunity to prepare for a C-USA schedule that is getting tougher every year. We hope to attract a bigger home crowd with some strong opponents coming to Ruston.”
The Bulldogs kickoff the 2024-25 soccer season with 18 regular season games and two exhibition matches on the road. Of the 18 regular season games, four teams on the schedule (Mississippi State, Alabama, Liberty, and Grambling) were all 2023 NCAA Tournament teams.
In addition to Mississippi State and Alabama being 2023 NCAA Tournament teams, both squads finished last season ranked inside the Top 25.
On August 22, Tech will host South Alabama in their home opener at Robert Mack Caruthers Field.
The 2024 CUSA Conference Tournament will be hosted by FIU this season and will take place in Miami, Fla.
