Funeral services for Wayne J. Farley of Sharon, LA, will be held Monday, October 14, 2024, 2:00 PM at Sharon Baptist Church in Dubach. Interment will follow at Sharon Baptist Church Cemetery following the service. Officiating the service will be Rev. Jeff Roberts. Visitation will be held at the church prior to the service from 1:00 to 2:00 PM.
Wayne was a member and Deacon at Sharon Baptist Church, and was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was retired VP of operations with Sid Richardson, Energy Services.
He is preceded in death by his parents Raymond Elvin and Edna Wilson Farley as well his son, Todd Wayne Farley, sister Deborah Henkie, and brother Lonnie Farley.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife Retha Ann Farley, children Jeffrey Chad Farley, Jason Daniel Farley and wife Elisha, sibling’s Patsy Davis, Darleen Madole, and Donald Farley,; grandchildren, Naomi Marie Gatlin, Micaela Sierra Collins, Summer LeeAnn Farley, Elyssa Jade Farley, Jordyn Elexus Farley, Carahlee Fay Farley; great- grandchildren, Ever Marie Bowman, Scarlett Lane, Remington Harvey DeArmond, Wren Lee, Vada-Ann DeArmond, Oliver Jack Longacre as well as numerous nieces, nephews and family.
Pallbearers are Chad Farley, Jason Farley, Shane Farley, Alex Farley, John Millsap, and Garrett Dearmond.
