A Ruston man was arrested October 15 after he was discharged from a hospital but allegedly refused to leave the premises.
Ruston Police responded to the Northern Louisiana Medical Center about 2:00 p.m. where they were told a man was harassing the nurses and causing a disturbance. According to an officer’s report, Antonio Spivey had been discharged from the hospital and directed to leave several times, but he refused. He was reportedly yelling, harassing, and annoying the staff.
Police issued Spivey a citation for disturbing the peace and his brother said he would take Spivey away.
Spivey entered his brother’s vehicle but then got out, walking onto the hospital property after being forbidden. He was then arrested for disturbing the peace and remaining on premises after being forbidden.
Spivey has been arrested in Lincoln Parish several times this year.
