Cedar Creek School has been recognized by the Louisiana Office of Student Financial Assistance (LOSFA) for its outstanding FAFSA completion rate of 88% in 2024, well above the state average of 62%.

“Successful FAFSA submission made it possible for the Class of 2024 to earn in excess of $6.3 million in scholarships and even more in financial aid assistance,” reported Director of Guidance Services Stacy Doyal Hunt. “Cedar Creek’s guidance department works with parents and students to maximize their college funding opportunities, and we are delighted to be recognized in this way.”

Two upcoming Cedar Creek events will provide information and help high school students and their parents as they navigate the financial aid process. Financial Aid Awareness Night is slated for Tuesday, December 3; a FAFSA Completion Event has been scheduled for Tuesday, January 21.

Head of School Connie Bradford commended the Class of 2024 for their dedication to their studies, their parents for their support of a college-preparatory education, and their teachers for their diligence in providing top-notch learning experiences.

As part of its Geaux FAFSA Tour, LOFSA is recognizing high schools with FAFSA Completion Rates that exceeded the state average as of August 31, 2024. Funding provided through the ECMC FAFSA Support Strategy Grant made it possible for LOSFA to highlight Cedar Creek School’s accomplishments during the 2023-2024 school year.
