Louisiana Tech’s freshman guard Paris Bradley was named Conference USA Freshman of the Week for the second time this season after leading the Lady Techsters to a 3-0 week and first 2-0 start in conference play since 2017-18.

The Carrollton, Texas, native started the week with eight points, five assists, five steals, and three rebounds against LSU Alexandria-the five steals and five assists set or tied career highs.

Bradley followed that up with seven points, seven assists, and three rebounds to open conference play. She helped orchestrate LA Tech’s second-half comeback with five assists in the final 20 minutes. Her defensive presence helped limit UTEP to just six points in the final quarter.

Against New Mexico State, Bradley finished with 12 points, five steals, four assists, and three rebounds. Her defense shined against the Aggies, limiting the nation’s 13th-leading scorer to eight points below her season average.

On the season, Bradley is third on the team with 9.8 points per game while leading the team with 3.1 assists and 1.7 steals a contest.

Louisiana Tech will look to continue the four-game winning streak with a trip to FIU on Thursday at 6 p.m. CT. The Lady Techsters will then travel to Liberty for a 1 p.m. CT tip on Saturday.
