
A Lincoln Parish deputy arrested a Castor man Monday after a brief foot chase.
Bymicha Lamorn Gray, 35, was booked on numerous warrants plus resisting an officer after he was apprehended in Grambling.
Grambling Police officers attempted to arrest Gray about 1:15 p.m. but he fled on foot. Officers had attempted to arrest Gray on outstanding warrants from Ruston City Court. A description was given to the Lincoln Parish Sheriff’s Office and a deputy spotted Gray about 2:00 p.m. behind a residence on La. Highway 150.
The deputy gave chase and after commands to stop, Gray surrendered. He was booked for five warrants charging him with failure to appear in court for two counts of theft less than $1,000, simple criminal damage to property, possession of drug paraphernalia, and entering premises after being forbidden.
He was also charged with two counts of resisting an officer for fleeing Grambling Police and the Sheriff’s Office.
