One of the major topics on local social media: what is being built here, there, and yonder. It seems the construction never stops in Ruston. Briefly, I-20 Service Road East—a hotel; Tarbutton Road @ I-20—roadwork for Buc-ee’s; on South Trenton across from the old Green Clinic—a gas station; old Texaco station at E. Georgia & Bonner—offices for Rocketfast Car Wash; West California west of Tech Farm—new Fire Station #2.

Eric researched the theater extensively and successfully applied to have it added to the National Register of Historic Places. Restoration efforts will begin shortly to open up an entertainment venue at the location.
