A Monroe woman stopped by the Dubach Police Department said she had swallowed heroin when an officer arrested her on a warrant.
Ashley Brooke Roberson, 38, was stopped for speeding on U.S. 167 in Dubach on April 10.
The officer detected a strong odor of alcohol coming from Roberson and found a whiskey bottle on the rear floorboard.

A records check showed Roberson’s driver’s license was suspended and she was wanted by the Union Parish Sheriff’s Office on a felony warrant.
While Roberson was being transported to the Lincoln Parish Detention Center, she said she had swallowed some heroin. She was taken to the emergency room of the Northern Louisiana Medical Center for treatment. Once she was medically cleared, she was booked at the detention center for driving under suspension, open container, speeding, and the Union Parish warrant.
