First Baptist Ruston will be offering the seminar/support group ‘Divorce Care’. The group will kick off Wednesday, April 23 from 5:45 pm to 7 pm. The group meets for 13 weeks.
Divorce Care is designed to help you heal from the hurt using scripture based material. Support is offered in a warm, caring environment led by people who understand what you are going through.
Counselors Sharon Kilkoyne and Pam Cannon will facilitate the co-ed group, and want individuals from any church, or no church, to know they are welcome. There is a $20 fee for the workbook, and there are programs at First for children and youth during this time frame.
“We are so excited .we can offer this healing opportunity to those who need it.” said Assistant Minister Clayton Owen. “We know this is a great resource, and we have some great people leading.”
