A West Monroe woman was arrested in Lincoln Parish last Sunday on numerous charges after reports she was driving recklessly.
Linsey Barham, 47, was reported as a reckless driver by two different off-duty law enforcement officers on the afternoon of April 13.
A Lincoln Parish deputy on patrol spotted the Toyota Tacoma on U. S. 167. During the stop, Barham said her driver’s license was suspended and she had no insurance or registration for the vehicle.

A records check showed that the license plate displayed on the Tacoma had been taken from a Toyota RAV4.
Barham said she and her boyfriend had gotten into a verbal argument and he had taken her phone and she was headed to his house to retrieve it. A check showed Barham was wanted in both Lincoln and Ouachita Parishes.
During a search of the vehicle, deputies found an assortment of prescription pills in the name of three other individuals. Barham said the pills were not prescribed to her, but that she was using them for her own medical reasons.
Barham was arrested and booked at the Lincoln Parish detention center for possession of legend drugs with intent to distribute, switched license plates, driving under suspension, no vehicle registration, no liability insurance, three warrants from Fourth District Court, and two warrants from Third District Court for failing to appear on charges of DWI and possession of a Schedule I controlled substance.
