Louisiana Tech had 63 student-athletes receive the Conference USA Commissioner’s Academic Medal for the 2024-25 academic year, as announced by the league office on Friday.
This marks the fourth consecutive year that LA Tech has had 60+ Bulldogs and Lady Techsters receive this academic honor, which is given to those who maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.75 or better for the 2024-25 academic year.
The Soccer program led the way with 12 Academic Medalists, reaching double-digit honorees for the fifth straight year. The programs of Bowling, Golf, and Men’s Track and Field either tied or set a new record for most honorees.
