Grambling Police arrested two Ruston man last Sunday after methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia were found in their vehicle.
A truck driven by Charles Paul Craig and occupied by Robert Daniel Lowery, both 54, was stopped on April 13 in response to a possible burglary where two men were attempting to steal a washer and dryer out of a vacant house.
Craig and Lowery said they were told they could take the appliances.
During the course of the investigation, the truck was searched and a smoking pipe containing suspected methamphetamine residue was found in the glove box. A green glass containing an unknown white liquid was also located. Both men said they were unaware it was in the vehicle.

Craig was found with about 54 grams of methamphetamine on him.
Upon further questioning, Lowery admitted to smoking methamphetamine out of the green glass with Craig. Lowery and Craig were both booked for possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Craig was also charged with improper lane usage, driving under suspension, and possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute.
