The 2025 Peach Hunt, brought to you by Origin Bank, starts today.

Starting at 10 a.m. today, the Lincoln Parish Journal in partnership with the City of Ruston will publish the Peach Hunt Clue on its Facebook page!

However, before you take off on your hunting adventures, please read over the following rules and reminders to make the most of your Peach Prize Hunt.

Peach Hunt Rules and Reminders

1. Stay Within City Limits: The Peach Prize is hidden within the official Ruston city limits. Please refer to current City of Ruston maps to ensure you’re searching within the correct boundaries.

2. Public Property Only: The prize is located on public property. You will not need to enter any gated areas or pay an admission fee to access the location. Hunt During Daylight Hours: For your safety, please limit all Peach Prize hunting to daylight hours only.

3. No Digging or Climbing Required: The prize may not be immediately visible, but you will not need to dig, climb, open, or move any objects to find it.

4. Respect the Community: The Peach Hunt is a fun and festive way to build excitement for the Louisiana Peach Festival. While we encourage everyone to join in the fun, we kindly ask that all participants follow local ordinances and laws. Your cooperation helps us continue this beloved community tradition for years to come!

Keep a look out for the first Peach Hunt clue to be posted on the official Louisiana Peach Fest Facebook and Instagram page at 10AM Monday morning.
