Disorderly Shreveport man arrested at sports event

A Shreveport man was arrested at an event at the Ruston Sports Complex after numerous complaints he was intoxicated and causing a disturbance.

Tristan Gauthier, 29, was located after officers working the event received numerous complaints that he was causing a disturbance by being loud and intoxicated. Officers told him to leave the complex but he began using profanity and eventually fell to the ground.

Gauthier was arrested and as officers tried to detain him and escort him to a patrol car, he resisted. Once he was forcibly placed in a patrol car, he kicked the rear passenger door multiple times, damaging it.

Gauthier was booked at the Lincoln Parish Detention Center for disturbing the peace by appearing intoxicated in public, second degree battery of a police officer, resisting an officer, and simple criminal damage the property.
