Head coach Steve Voltz and the Louisiana Tech women’s soccer program have announced their schedule for the upcoming 2025 season.

“It is yet another very tough schedule,” Voltz said. “Not only in Conference USA, but with some very strong non-conference opposition. Our players want these opportunities to play against some of the best teams in the region, and I know they will be up for it.”

Tech kicks off the 22nd year of its soccer program with two exhibition matches at home against ULM (Aug. 3) and Central Arkansas (Aug. 9) before opening the regular season at Robert Mack Caruthers Field with an SEC opponent in Alabama on August 14.

This marks the first time the Bulldogs face the Crimson Tide at home in program history following their inaugural match in Tuscaloosa, Alabama in 2024, as well as the first time the Bulldogs open the regular season with an SEC opponent under Coach Voltz.

The ‘Dogs continue their homestand with matches against Mississippi Valley State (Aug. 17) and UL-Lafayette (Aug. 21) before taking on a five-match road trip starting with South Alabama on August 24. After a clash with the Jaguars, Tech travels to face the Oklahoma Sooners (Aug. 28) and the Oral Roberts Golden Eagles (Aug. 31) to close out the month of August, facing both teams for the first time ever.

The road trip concludes in the state of Mississippi when the ‘Dogs battle with Mississippi State (Sept. 4) in Starkville, Mississippi for their fifth all-time matchup and their first since 2022 before taking on former CUSA foe Southern Miss in Hattiesburg. This will be the 13th time the Golden Eagles and Bulldogs take the pitch together and the first time since 2021.

LA Tech closes out the non-conference slate back home at The Mack with a primetime match against Stephen F. Austin (Sept. 11) and an afternoon clash with Houston Christian on September 14.

The Bulldogs kick off CUSA play with three of their first four matches on the home pitch, opening with UTEP at home on September 19 before hitting the road to take on Sam Houston in a midday matchup nine days later on September 28 in Huntsville, Texas.

Tech returns to Ruston to start off the month of October hosting Western Kentucky (Oct. 2) and Middle Tennessee (Oct. 5) before taking on a three-game road trip to New Mexico State (Oct. 11) Missouri State (Oct. 16) and FIU (Oct. 19). The regular season concludes at home in a Sunday afternoon match for Senior Day against Delaware on October 26.

The CUSA tournament is set to begin on Sunday, November 2 hosted by Liberty in Lynchburg, Virginia.

Admission to all LA Tech women’s soccer games will be free of charge. Fans will enter through the gate in between Robert Mack Caruthers Field and Dr. Billy Bundrick Field and follow the staircase to the right leading up to the soccer field. If handicapped fans wish to do so, there is an elevator located inside the soccer facility that leads directly to the field.
