RUSTON, La. — Ruston High Bearcat fans are invited to Bearcat Madness tonight from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. for the chance to meet the team and enjoy a pep rally and ice cream.
“Bearcat Madness is a great community event,” Ruston High Principal Dan Gressett said. “We had a huge turnout last year, and I expect we will again this year. You can purchase Bearcat merchandise, get free Blue Bell ice cream, and meet the team, cheerleaders, belles, Poms, and more. I’d encourage all fans to come out Friday and see what it’s all about. We really appreciate the support.”

The Bearcat Village will be set up again in the RHS Gym Parking Lot for fans to come purchase gameday gear and apparel, while at 6:15 p.m. there will be a free ice cream social with a pep rally following.
Ruston High will have a scrimmage Thursday, Aug. 21, tentatively scheduled for 6 p.m. against the Byrd Yellowjackets at Hoss Garrett Stadium.
