A Celebration of Life for Linda Sue Digby Reneau, 83, will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, August 16, 2025, at Temple Baptist Church Sanctuary, 1515 S. Service Road West, Ruston, LA. Dr. Reggie Bridges will officiate the service.
Interment will follow in Pisgah Cemetery in Bernice, LA under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Homes of Ruston, LA.
A visitation will begin at 10:00 A.M. until service time at Temple Baptist Church Sanctuary in Ruston, LA.
Linda was born on November 7, 1941, in Bernice, LA and passed away on August 11, 2025, in Baton Rouge, LA. She was a member of Temple Baptist Church; First Lady of Louisiana Tech for 26 years and a devoted housewife, mother, and grandmother. Linda loved her bridge group for over thirty years of cards and fellowship. Linda also looked forward to every “Monday Night Hamburger Night” with dear friends at Squire Creek Country Club.
She is preceded in death by her parents, John Clinton Digby and Lois Grafton Digby; siblings, Ouida Digby, Bettye Dubee, Fred Digby, John Digby and their infant daughter.
Linda is survived by her husband of 64 years, Daniel Dugan Reneau, Jr. of Baton Rouge, LA formerly of Ruston, LA; son, John Reneau of Las Vegas, NV; daughter, Dana Reneau Bernhard and husband Jim of Baton Rouge, LA; grandchildren, Michael Daniel Bernhard and wife Rachel; Benjamin Joseph Bernhard and wife Jenna; Patrick Wayne Bernhard and wife Amelie; Kathryn Bernhard Gerry and husband John; Tres Bernhard; great grandchildren, Ella Lynne Bernhard, IV Bernhard, Violet Bernhard, Blake Bernhard, Jack Gerry, Sloane Gerry, Remi Gerry, and Ainsley Bernhard; sister, Catherine Digby Laskowski; and numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of other family and friends.
Memorials may be made to Louisiana Tech University Foundation for Biomedical Engineering Program or A. E. Phillips Laboratory School.
