Ruston High announces 2025 homecoming court

Ruston High School would like to introduce the 2025-2026 Homecoming Court. 

Freshman maids are Gabrielle Johnson and Dakota Powell. Gabby is the daughter of Yuliana and Joshua Johnson. Dakota is the daughter of Denisha and Donte Powell.

Sophomore maids are Eden Dawsey and Alyessia Beasley. Eden is the daughter of Jennie and Corey Dawsey. Her dad is a graduate of the RHS Class of 1998, her grandfather Bill Dawsey is a graduate of the RHS Class of 1973, and her grandmother Peggy Dawsey is a former Homecoming Queen and a graduate of the RHS Class of 1973.  Alyessia is the daughter of Racheal Beasley and Steven Smith. 

Junior maids are Sylvia Lackey and Jayla Spears. Sylvia is the daughter of Amy and Nick Lee and the late Ian Lackey. Sylvia comes from a long line of Bearcats as her parents Nick and Amy Lee graduated in the RHS Class of 1997, her grandmothers Debbie Allen and Susan Tripp both graduated in the RHS Class of 1975, her grandfather Dennis Allen graduated in the RHS Class of 1973, and her great-grandfather John Bennett Allen graduated in the RHS Class of 1947. Jayla is the daughter of Nakeshia Colquitt and Brandon Spears. Her brother Jamarrion Reed is a graduate of the RHS Class of 2021, and her sister Skylaar Spencer is a graduate of the RHS Class of 2024. 

Senior maids are Alyssa Langiulli, Alayna Maryland, Trisha Pangilinan, and Frances Preaus. Alyssa is the daughter of Drs. Dayanny and Michael Langiulli. Her brother Jaiden is a graduate of the RHS Class of 2023. Alayna is the daughter of Andrea Maryland and Christopher Maryland. Her brother Christopher, Jr., is a graduate of the RHS Class of 2020, and her brother Chase is a graduate of the RHS Class of 2024. Trisha is the daughter of Jennifer and Eugene Pangilinan. Frances is the daughter of Morgan and Jake Preaus. Frances’s mom is a Class of 203 graduate, and Frances’ grandfather Wayne Parkman is a graduate of the RHS Class of 1965.

The 2025 Maid of Honor is Amaya Major. Amaya is the daughter of Jeanette Sly and William Major. 

The 2025 Homecoming Queen is Melissa Le. Melissa is the daughter of Dr. Son and Van Le. Her sister Hana is a graduate of the RHS Class of 2021.

The Homecoming Crawl and pep rally will be held on Thursday, October 9, beginning in the Boulevard at 6:30 p.m. and ending at Hoss Garrett Stadium for the pep rally at 7:00 p.m.; and to the assembly, which will be held Friday, October 10, at 10:00 a.m. in the Main Gym. The court will also be presented at halftime at the varsity football game against Pineville on Friday, October 10, at 7:00 p.m. at T.L. James Field at Hoss Garrett Stadium.
