Louisiana Tech softball announced its 2026 schedule on Wednesday, highlighted by four regular-season tournaments and back-to-back home weekends with the LA Tech Invite and Bulldog Classic.

A two-time Conference USA Coach of the Year, head coach Josh Taylor enters his fifth season at the helm after leading the Bulldogs to four straight 30+ win seasons.

Taylor and the Bulldogs will open the 2026 season on the road in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, at the Southern Miss Black and Gold Challenge from Feb. 6-8, before heading to Hammond to face Southeastern Louisiana on Feb. 11. Tech will stay on the road, traveling to Youngsville for the Mardi Gras Mambo Tournament (Feb. 13-15).

The Bulldogs will close out February with pair of midweek contests at home against in state foes Northwestern State (Feb. 17) and ULM (Feb. 19), followed by back-to-back tournament weekends. Tech will host the LA Tech Invite (Feb. 20-22) and the Bulldog Classic (Feb. 27-March 1).

LA Tech will travel to Texas A&M for a midweek matchup with the Aggies on March 4, before heading to Las Cruces, N.M. to face the New Mexico State Aggies to open CUSA play March 6-8.

The Bulldogs will then return home to host Alcorn State on March 10, followed by a three-game set against new CUSA member Delaware (March 13-15).

The remainder of the March includes road trips to Ole Miss (March 18), Jacksonville State (March 20-22), LSU (March 24), and Northwestern State (March 31), along with a home series against another new league foe, Missouri State (March 27-29).

April features a balanced slate of road and home contests, including conference series at Middle Tennessee (April 3-5), Liberty (April 24-26), and nonconference midweek meetings at ULM (April 8) and McNeese (April 14). The Bulldogs will host FIU (April 10-12), Sam Houston (April 17-19), and UTEP (April 30-May 2) to close the regular season.

The 2026 CUSA Tournament is set for May 5-9 in Newark, Del., hosted by Delaware.
