Hurley named to CUSA All-Academic Team

For a second straight year, Louisiana Tech’s Jailen Hurley was named to the Conference USA Volleyball All-Academic Team, as announced by the league office Friday.

Hurley, a three-time CUSA Commissioner’s Honor Roll recipient and three-time CUSA Academic Medalist, is in her senior year majoring in Interior Design with a 3.87 cumulative grade point average.

The right-side hitter just wrapped up her four-year career with the Bulldogs, seeing action in 110 matches while totaling 667 kills and 179 blocks. For the 2025 season, the Little Elm, Texas native paced LA Tech with 237 kills with a .253 hitting percentage while also attributing to 50 blocks.

Hurley becomes just the second two-time CUSA All-Academic selection in program history.
