
A Celebration of Life for Keith Bradley Rowe, 79, of Ruston, Louisiana, will be held Thursday, February 5, at 11:00 AM at Temple Baptist Church Chapel in Ruston. Dr. Reggie Bridges and Rev. Dale Oden will officiate. Interment will follow at Kilpatrick Memorial Gardens under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Homes of Ruston.
Visitation will be held Thursday from 10:00–11:00 AM at Temple Baptist Church Chapel.
Keith was born July 14, 1946, in Yukon, Oklahoma, and passed away January 30, 2026.
He was an active member of Temple Baptist Church, where he played in the orchestra and taught a Sunday School class.
Keith graduated from Oklahoma Baptist University in 1968 and served in the United States Army from 1968–1971. He earned his master’s degree from Southwestern Theological Seminary in 1978.
Keith served in ministry for nearly 50 years, primarily as a Minister of Music, and also in roles including Youth Minister and Administration. His ministry took him to churches across Louisiana, Oklahoma, Colorado, and Texas. Music was his calling, and he loved directing orchestras and choirs of all ages. His favorite hobbies included playing the timpani, singing, riding horses in his younger years, and spending time with family.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Joy Carol; parents John Rowe and Celeste Henderson; stepparents Terry Rowe and Donovan Henderson; and brothers John Rowe, Albert Rowe, and Paul Henderson.
Keith is survived by his son Kyle Rowe (Tanya) of Bixby, Oklahoma; daughter Jennifer Rowe of Ruston; grandchildren Konnor, Mia, and Levi Rowe of Bixby, Oklahoma, and Matthew and Kylie Joy King of Ruston; brother Frank Rowe of Omaha, Nebraska; sister Cheri Henderson of Lubbock, Texas; along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Pallbearers will be Kyle Rowe, Konnor Rowe, Levi Rowe, Matthew King, Frank Rowe, and Chad Rowe. Honorary pallbearers will be Mia Rowe, Kylie Joy King, and Keith’s Adult 7 Men’s Sunday School Class at Temple Baptist Church.
