Experience Ruston (Ruston Lincoln Convention & Visitors Bureau) announced that Amanda Carrier will be stepping down from her role as President & CEO, effective February 13, concluding 13 years of dedicated service to the organization and the regional tourism industry.
During her time at Experience Ruston, Carrier worked closely with community partners, stakeholders, and industry leaders to advance Experience Ruston’s mission and strengthen the area’s tourism economy. She served as Marketing Director for seven years before being promoted to President & CEO in March of 2020.
“It has truly been an honor to serve this organization and the Lincoln Parish community throughout the past 13 years,” said Carrier. “I’m incredibly grateful for the collaboration, support, partnership, and guidance I’ve received, and for the ways our shared efforts have helped strengthen Ruston’s tourism industry as a whole.”

Tori Davis, Experience Ruston’s Director of Marketing & Communications, will serve as Interim President & CEO during the transition period.
“The Board of Directors thanks Amanda for her deep commitment and dedication to our community over the last 13 years,” said Brandon Norris, Board Chair for the Ruston Lincoln CVB. “Having that level of continuity has allowed the CVB to join with our community partners to grow tourism in our area to record levels. Under her leadership, the organization is on a strong footing and positioned for continued success. Although we hate to see her go, we wish Amanda all the best in her future endeavors.”
The Ruston Lincoln Convention & Visitors Bureau Board of Directors will be conducting a search to fill the President & CEO position. The Board will work closely with staff and partners to ensure continued momentum and support of the local tourism economy throughout this leadership transition.
