Kira LaSean Norman, 58, passed away on April 5, 2026.
Born on June 27, 1967, Kira was a loving and devoted family member who touched the lives of many with her kindness and warm spirit. She dedicated her time working at Lionheart Children’s Academy in Dallas, Texas, where she cared deeply for the children and families she served.
Kira was also a woman of faith who regularly attended church and found strength in her beliefs. She had a special love for her beloved cat, Indiana Jones Norman (“Indy”), who brought her great comfort and joy.
She is survived by her loving family: Diona Phillips (the late Glenn Phillips), Chanda Norman, and Jerry Norman, Jr. She also leaves behind cherished nieces: Danielle Phillips Bailey (Brian Bailey), Madysyn Norman, Peyton Norman, and Jaelynn Norman; and nephews: Dustin Phillips (Tory Phillips), Jack Norman (Kiri Norman), Jerry Norman, III, and Landon Norman.
Kira was preceded in death by her parents, Jerry Norman, Sr., and Alice Ann Hines Norman.
Kira will be remembered for her loving heart, her dedication to family, and the joy she brought to those around her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
