The 2026 Ruston High School Senior Talented Art Show is scheduled for Saturday, April 25 from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Gilbert Center Gallery, 301 N Trenton St, Suite 3, in Downtown Ruston.
Admission is free and open to the public.
Now in its fourth year, the annual exhibition is hosted by Creative Exchange in collaboration with the Ruston High School Talented Art Program — and marks the first time the show will be held in the Gilbert Center Gallery, bringing the student showcase into a professional gallery setting in the heart of Downtown Ruston.
Fifteen graduating seniors will exhibit original works representing years of focused artistic development: Thalia Aguirre-Ramos, Raylee Barmore, Libby Blake, Carlaja Bradford, Ashton Brazzel, Margot Budds, Dolly Garcia Miranda, Kennedy Jones, Amaya Major, Emiley Shryock, Caroline Simmons, Audrey Smith, Reagan Talley, Kimora Thompson, and Cielo Vidal.
The partnership between Creative Exchange and the Ruston High Talented Art Department begins each fall with a field trip to the Gilbert Center, where students take part in a hands-on workshop and hear from Dylan Sanders — Co-Owner of Creative Exchange and Director of the Gilbert Center — on topics like getting work exhibition-ready and pricing artwork for sale. Talented Art seniors spend the remainder of the year preparing pieces that culminate in the April exhibition.
“We’re incredibly proud of this partnership with Ruston High. The talent and dedication these students bring to their work never fails to impress, and the community always shows up for them — this is regularly one of our most highly attended exhibitions,” said Sanders.
