A grave side service for Gregory Patton Farrar, of Dubach, LA. will be 2:00pm Monday, May 4, at Lisbon United Methodist Church Cemetery in Lisbon, LA. Rev. Bob Deich will be officiating the service.
Greg was born June 26, 1956, in El Dorado, AR and passed away on April 25, 2026, in Houston, TX.
He graduated from Sam Houston State in Huntsville, TX. with a MS Degree in Criminology. After he graduated he received a commission from the Army as a second Lieutenant.
He spent a devoted career in the military and retired as a Lieutenant Colonel. His life work was primarily in the Pentagon and the surrounding Washington DC area.
He is preceded in death by his parents John (JM) and Maggie Faye Farrar. Greg is survived by his brother John H. Farrar (Johnny) and his wife Ida and their daughter Kaye Faye Farrar from Longview, TX.
