First Baptist Ruston is inviting all active duty military, whether full or part-time, veterans, and spouses to a lunch on Military Appreciation Day this Saturday, May 16.
We will offer coffee and tea beginning at 10:30a.m., followed by a lunch of pork chops, mashed potatoes, green beans, cobbler and ice cream beginning at 11 am. In addition, we are also inviting anyone who would like to attend in honor of a spouse or child who served, and has since died to join us.
This is simply going to be a time of encouragement, and also of appreciation for your service. If you would like to join us for the event, please go to fbcruston.org, click on the ‘events’ tab, scroll to ‘Military Appreciation Lunch’ and sign up, or you can call the church office at 255-4628 by 3 pm on Friday.
First Baptist is located at 200 S Trenton St, downtown by the courthouse. You can enter off of Texas Street or Monroe Street, and the meal is in the church’s fellowship hall. We hope you will join us, and we do appreciate your service!
