Louisiana Tech’s Zoie Epps and Maria Tsironi were named to the 2026 Academic All-District Women’s Tennis team, as announced Tuesday by College Sports Communicators which recognizes the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom.

Epps, a junior from Norman, Oklahoma, carries a 3.57 GPA while majoring in exercise and health promotion. The 2026 CUSA Player of the Year and First Team All-CUSA Selection in both singles and doubles compiled an 18-1 dual singles record at the No. 1 position and spent nine weeks nationally ranked in doubles.

This marks the second straight year Epps has received CSC Academic All-District honors. She has also been selected as a CSC Academic All-America finalist and will advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members.

Tsironi, a sophomore from Argyroupoli, Greece, boasts a 3.85 GPA while majoring in business administration. On the court, she earned Second Team All-CUSA honors in doubles this past season after going 11-7 overall with a perfect 5-0 mark versus league competition during the regular season.

Both Bulldogs were also selected to the CUSA All-Academic Team, accounting for two of the six total selections.
