Remembering Randall Ray Harrison

Born to Wallace and Reba Jean Harrison of Ruston, LA on April 14, 1951, Randy lived a life of service and teamwork. As a young man he raised show cattle and enjoyed nature in the country. He excelled in basketball while building lifelong friendships, embracing the values of hard work and community that would shape and guide him throughout his life.

His career in financial planning spanned five decades with Equitable. Randy’s exceptional expertise in wealth management plus his kind, welcoming spirit developed long term relationships, often working with multiple generations of families he served.

Randy led by example—demonstrating strength, generosity, and a steadfast commitment to doing what was right. He was a generous provider, fierce protector and a true example of living the Rotary motto of “Service above Self”.

Harrison’s quick wit, high intellect and sense of humor came through when he took on leadership roles with several volunteer organizations such as the Monroe Jaycees, College Park Rotary, Ask An Expert quarterly advice article from Financial Planners and Relay for Life.
