Dubach Police make abuse, false imprisonment arrest

A Dubach man was arrested Monday following a reported domestic violence incident, according to an arrest affidavit.

Terrion Trinese McCollister, 49, was arrested June 15 for domestic abuse battery and false imprisonment after an investigation by Dubach Police.

Police were dispatched to a residence on Highway 167 shortly before midnight May 15. A woman and a man told officers they were attacked by McCollister. The woman said McCollister struck her in the face with a closed fist, beat her with a belt, and prevented her from leaving the residence, according to the affidavit.

Officers observed red marks, scratches, and bruises on the woman’s legs and arms during that investigation.

Police obtained arrest warrants for McCollister on charges for domestic abuse battery and false imprisonment. He was located at a residence on Highway 167 on June 15 and taken into custody.

McCollister was transported to the Lincoln Parish Detention Center on the warrants. He is also being held for a Louisiana Department of Corrections parole officer.
