Head coach Matt Lodge has announced the official signing of Juliette Starck, a midfielder that can contribute both on the attack and the back line out of Toulouse, France. She will join the Bulldogs in 2026 as a true freshman.
“Juliette is an experienced midfielder that will bring a high level of play to Ruston,” Lodge said. “She is always looking for the ball, helping the team build and will chip in with goals with her runs into the box.”
Starck joins the Bulldogs with high-level championship experience, securing a UNSS French national championship in 2025-26 and a School Cup championship during the same season, when she was also named School Cup MVP at Lycée Déodat de Séverac
She spent her club career with Toulouse FC, who is currently a part of Ligue 1, France’s highest division in professional soccer. During her tenure with TFC, Starck contributed to the club’s eventual promotion to the top French division along with competing in the Coupe de France, an annual tournament for French football clubs.
She helped guide her squad to a quarterfinal appearance before falling to Paris Saint-Germain, 3-1.
Born in Paris to Valérie Pailhé and Olivier Starck, Starck also competed in rugby, track & field, volleyball, badminton, basketball and strength training during her high school years.
