A man was arrested last week after Ruston Police investigated a complaint of sexual battery.
Dre Amir Boulware, 37, of Ruston, was arrested July 4 after police began investigating a sexual battery and nondisclosure of a private image complaint on June 30.
A man reported he and Boulware were formerly co-workers who had reconnected. Boulware had invited him to his apartment. During that time while the man was sleeping, Boulware allegedly sexually contacted him and had stolen nude images from his phone on June 25.
According to the report, Boulware vehemently denied retrieving any nude images from the victim’s phone. However, he eventually reversed his statement and said the man sent the images to him.
Boulware was arrested for nondisclosure of a private image and sexual battery.
