Memorial services for Jeremiah “Jeremy” Nathan Patton, also known to many as “Monk”, age 47 of Dubach, LA will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, August 10, 2026 at Owens Memorial Chapel in Ruston, LA.
Jeremy was born on August 25, 1978 in Monroe, LA and he passed away on Tuesday, August 4, 2026 in Dubach, LA. Jeremy loved to talk and never met a stranger. Anyone who knew him would tell you he could “talk the horns off a billy goat.”
You could often find Jeremy walking, stopping to chat with just about anyone he met. Above all, he loved dearly, especially his son, Nathan, and the rest of his family, no matter if they were immediate or extended. With Jeremy every conversation ended with a, “You know I gotta mess with ya,” – a little thing you’d expect from him other than a long conversation.
Jeremy is preceded in death by his father, Earl Patton and niece, Mary Elizabeth Patton. He is survived by his mother, Angela Hitt; son, Jeremiah Nathan Patton, II “Nathan”; brothers, Jesse Flowers and Jonath Caleb Patton; sister, Jenny and husband Ronald Mack; nieces, Harper Mack and Logan Mack; nephew, Evan Mack; step-sisters, Haley Isaac, Melissa Freeman, and Stacy Averyt; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM, Monday, at Owens Memorial Chapel Funeral Home.
