Tech volleyball to host inaugural First Serve

Louisiana Tech Volleyball welcomes fans to the Thomas Assembly Center for the inaugural First Serve on August 27th from 6:30-8:00 p.m.

Fans will have the opportunity to meet the 2026 Bulldog Volleyball team and coaching staff and learn more about the 2026 volleyball season. Complimentary dessert and refreshments will be provided with a cash bar available.

Admission to the event is free, but fans are encouraged to RSVP by 4:00 p.m. on Thursday August 27th.

Attendees will enjoy an evening emceed by head coach Scott Mattera featuring opportunities to connect, cheer, and celebrate all things Louisiana Tech volleyball.

This season marks a new era in Louisiana Tech volleyball, the first in the Sun Belt Conference. The move reignites competition against familiar opponents and restores regional rivalries.

The Bulldogs will open the season at home with the Jambalaya Jam in the TAC from August 28-30 against Iona, Houston Christian and Little Rock. Admission to all Bulldog volleyball games is free.
