Funeral service for Charline Woods, Age 78 of Choudrant, LA will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, August 14, 2026 at New Hope Baptist Church. Burial will follow in New Hope Cemetery under the direction of Owens Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Ruston, LA.
Charline was born on October 26, 1947 and passed away on Thursday, August 13, 2026 in Choudrant, LA. She worked as an cafeteria cook for Lincoln Parish School System. Charline enjoyed crocheting and spending time with her family.
Charline was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Thomas Woods; son, Billy Burton Woodall; and sister, Brenda. She is survived by grandchildren, Billy Woodall and Branda Woodall; and great- grandchildren, Brayden and Jethro; brothers, Raymond Harold Bruner and Wayne Bruner; sister, Carol; and a host of other family and friends. Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM, Friday at New Hope Baptist Church.
