Louisiana Tech returns home Tuesday as the Bulldogs host Alcorn State at 5:30 p.m. inside the Thomas Assembly Center.

Louisiana Tech (3-3) returns to Ruston after going 1-2 at the UNO Tourney in Omaha, Nebraska. The Bulldogs swept Chicago State before falling in straight sets to Omaha and in four sets to Western Michigan.
LA Tech turned in its best offensive performance of the season against Chicago State, hitting .310 with 40 kills and 14 errors. The Bulldogs also recorded nine service aces against only two service errors.
Taylor Woods leads the Bulldogs with 54 kills and has been the team’s kill leader in four of six matches. She recorded a season-high 12 kills against Western Michigan, the most by a Bulldog in a match this season.
Tyra McKinnie added 10 kills against Chicago State, while Gabrielle Hairston had seven kills and hit .462 against Omaha.
Setters Sydnee Carter and Emerson Traylor have combined for 200 assists this season. Carter has reached double figures in assists in all six matches, including three with at least 20.

Senior libero Riley Steubing leads the Sun Belt Conference and ranks fifth nationally with 5.38 digs per set. She has recorded at least 20 digs three times, including 28 in the four-set loss to Western Michigan.
Alcorn State (0-5) enters Tuesday still looking for its first victory of the season.
Courtney Carter leads the Braves with 54 kills, while Jaylynn McNeill has 46 kills and a .294 hitting percentage.
Daylin Saiki has recorded 130 of Alcorn State’s 181 assists and ranks fourth in the Southwestern Athletic Conference at 6.50 assists per set. Christian Webb ranks fourth in the conference with 0.80 blocks per set.
