A road closure will affect motorists trying to reach Ruston Junior High School for about a week, according to the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development.
DOTD has announced the temporary closure of a portion of the North Service Road (Woodward Ave.) between Cooktown Road and Tarbutton Road.
The section of the Service Road from about one mile west of Cooktown to Tarbutton will be closed to thru traffic beginning on Monday, September 14.
The closure is necessary to allow DOTD to repair a cross drain under the roadway and is expected to last one week. The roadway should reopen Monday, September 21.
The road will be completely closed and all vehicles will need to utilize an alternate route.
DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
