An Arcadia 17-year-old was arrested early Thursday on 14 counts of nonconsensual disclosure of a private image and a juvenile pornography charge after a sexually explicit video involving a juvenile was allegedly shared.
Zaniyah Harper was arrested by Ruston police at 12:13 a.m. Sept. 17, according to an arrest affidavit.
Officers were sent to McHenry Street at about 11:53 p.m. after a report that several females were trying to fight one another. During the investigation, officers identified Harper as one of the people involved.
Officers also learned that earlier in the day, Harper allegedly sent a pornographic video involving a juvenile to another person. The video was sent 13 more times.
Harper was later found on South Trenton Street during a traffic stop behind the location of the original complaint. When officers asked for her name, Harper gave a false one.
Harper was booked into the Lincoln Parish Detention Center on 14 counts of nonconsensual disclosure of a private image and one count each of pornography involving juveniles and resisting an officer by giving a false name.

Persons named or shown in photographs or video as suspects in a criminal investigation, or arrested and charged with a crime, have not been convicted of any criminal offense and are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
