The annual Lincoln Parish Career Expo returns on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Lincoln Parish Library Events Center. This massive community hiring event is completely free and open to the general public.
This year’s expo is brought to the community through an expanded powerhouse partnership including the Coordinating and Development Corporation (CDC), LA Works, the Louisiana Tech Region 8 STEM Center (SCILS), the Ruston-Lincoln Chamber of Commerce, Louisiana Delta Community College, and the Lincoln Parish Library. Together, these organizations are bringing more than 50 local and regional employers actively looking to build their teams.
Job seekers of all backgrounds and skill levels—from students and recent graduates to experienced professionals looking for a career change—will have the rare opportunity to submit resumes, network face-to-face, and participate in on-the-spot interviews and immediate job offers. Industries represented include banking, healthcare, architecture, manufacturing, local law enforcement, and regional retail operations.
“Ruston is an incredible community where local businesses, educators, and organizations truly lock arms to support one another,” said Natalie O’Rourke, Business Services Representative for CDC / WIOA LWDA 70. “This collaborative teamwork creates a fast track for regional growth. We strongly encourage everyone in the area to come dressed to impress, bring plenty of copies of their resume, and take advantage of this direct link to high-quality employment.”
In addition to direct hiring opportunities, the expo offers valuable professional perks completely free of charge to attendees:
- Free Coursera Access: The Louisiana Tech Region 8 STEM Center will be on-site offering job seekers exclusive, complimentary access to Coursera. Attendees can leverage this platform to earn industry-recognized professional certificates, learn new high-demand technical skills, and boost their resume value.
