Having served as Alderwoman for Ward 5, I know how important it is to have someone who listens to the people they represent and is willing to work hard for them. Ruston is a wonderful place to call home, and I am proud of the progress our city has made over the years. But there is still work to be done. Our neighborhoods need attention, our roads need improvement, and our residents deserve someone who will listen to their concerns and take action. That is why I am proud to endorse Galen Turner for Alderman in Ward 5.
Galen has spent his entire life in Ruston and has already given so much of his time to serving this community. As a teacher and coach at Ruston High School, he works with our young people and families every day. He loves this city and wants to see it continue to grow and improve. I also believe it is time for the next generation to have a voice in our city government. Galen brings fresh ideas, energy, and a desire to make a difference.
One thing I especially admire about Galen is his willingness to serve. At 24 years old, he is in a season of life where he has the time and energy to give Ward 5 the attention it deserves. He is ready to listen, show up, and work on the issues that matter to our residents. I believe we need more young people like Galen who are willing to step up and serve their hometown. I am proud to support Galen Turner, and I hope you will join me in voting for him as our next Ward 5 Alderman.
