Michael Craig Lawrence unexpectedly passed away on October 3rd, 2026 in Ruston, Louisiana. Michael was born on November 24, 1964, in Fort Polk, Louisiana. He graduated from Ruston High School in 1984 and went on to live a life that, while often quiet and reserved, was filled with warmth, kindness, and a deep appreciation for the things he loved.
Michael had a love for music and movies, finding joy in the stories, sounds, and moments that made life meaningful. He was not always one to say a great deal, but those who knew him understood that beneath his reserved nature was a warm soul and a heart that cared deeply. His presence was a comfort, and his memory will remain a lasting part of the lives of those who loved him.
Michael is survived by his brothers, Mark Lawrence and Matthew Lawrence, and Matthew’s wife, Kelley Lawrence. He also leaves behind his beloved nieces and nephews, Jordan Lawrence, Macie Flores, Nicholas Lawrence, and Caroline Lawrence, who held a special place in his heart.
Though words can never fully capture the loss of someone so dear, Michael’s family will carry forward the memories they shared, the love he gave, and the quiet ways he made life better simply by being part of it.
He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
He will be honored with a private memorial.
