The Louisiana Peach Festival has unveiled its entertainment lineup for the 75th Annual Louisiana Peach Festival, presented by b1BANK, set for Saturday, June 7, 2025. In addition to announcing the musical acts, organizers have shared several exciting updates for this year’s milestone event.

Headlining the festival is the award-winning Austin-based country rock band, The Band of Heathens. Known for their fiercely independent approach to music-making and a sound that blends classic rock, country, and roots influences, the group returns to Ruston after their highly anticipated 2024 set was canceled due to severe weather.

The Band of Heathens will take the stage at 8:30 p.m. in Railroad Park in Downtown Ruston, closing out a full day of live performances. Other featured artists include Mr. Taylormade & the Taylormade Band, Hidden Tracks, Chancie Neal, The Lovers, LA Jay & the Zydeco Backwood Boyz, Haley Brooke, Zebb Rogers, Elise Clare Causey, and Russ-Town Band.

“We’re looking forward to showcasing this diverse mix of regional talent for the festival’s 75th Anniversary celebration,” said Tori Davis, Director of Marketing and Communications for Experience Ruston. “The festival is thrilled to welcome The Band of Heathens back to Ruston, and we’re grateful to once again offer the community an incredible lineup of music—completely free of charge.”

The entire festival will once again be free and open to the public. In addition to 12 hours of live music, the one-day event will feature nearly 100 food and arts vendors, interactive kids’ activities, peach-themed treats, and more festive fun.

The Louisiana Peach Festival is made possible thanks to the dedication of dozens of volunteers. Organizers are now seeking volunteers for this year’s event. Those interested in lending a hand can explore available positions and sign up at www.lapeachfest.com/volunteers. The festival team is deeply appreciative of the time and talent volunteers contribute to help ensure a successful and smooth event.

Another highly anticipated festival announcement is the winner of the annual poster design contest. In keeping with tradition, the festival issued a call for submissions earlier this year. Peach Festival is excited to share the winner of the 2025 Louisiana Peach Festival Poster Contest is Erik Martinez-Rodriguez, whose design perfectly captured the essence of the Louisiana Peach Festival’s Diamond Jubilee.

The official poster and other festival merchandise will be available for purchase beginning in mid-May. Festival-goers will also be able to grab their keepsakes at the event on June 7. This year’s t-shirt design will be unveiled soon on the festival’s website and social media platforms.

Additional festival activities and details surrounding the 75th anniversary celebration will be announced in the coming weeks.

About the Louisiana Peach Festival
The Louisiana Peach Festival is one of the state’s longest-running agricultural festivals, with roots dating back to 1951. Originally created by local peach farmers to promote their industry throughout the South, the festival has since welcomed hundreds of thousands of visitors to Lincoln Parish and contributed millions of dollars to the local economy. The festival is a collaborative effort produced by the City of Ruston, Downtown Ruston, and Experience Ruston.
