Starting today, your trusted, timely and reliable source of information about the goings-on of Lincoln Parish has been outfitted with a new, sleek redesign that will allow for easier navigation.
“In a continuous effort to streamline and advance the Lincoln Parish Journal for our readers, we have moved to a more user-friendly format that has already shown positive results in other parish journals,” co-publisher Malcolm Butler said. “This change will make it much easier for readers to maneuver throughout the website.”
The redesign will condense the home page into a more friendly format making searching for the content that matters the most much more efficient, while still allowing us to honor the great community partners who are trusting us with their advertising needs in each story.
“This redesign will only help our readers and advertisers know what is going on in Lincoln Parish,” co-publisher Judith Roberts said. “We are so excited to modernize our website, which is largely in part to our need to expand in stories and advertorial content.”

Of course, the most important parts of what makes publishing the Lincoln Parish Journal so great will never change: emails will still go out at 6:55 AM and subscriptions will still be completely free.
The publishers of the Lincoln Parish Journal also wish to say a special thank you to our content providers in both our writer and our photographers for their professionalism and their individual talents. The content has rocketed growth for the journal in ways previously only dreamed.
March saw more than 350,000 views on the Lincoln Parish Journal, more than a 700 percent growth since the current publishers took over the outlet in September of 2021.
“We are so excited about the continued growth of our media outlet,” Butler said. “To think that we have grown by more than 700 percent since we took over as publishers in September of 2021 is pretty amazing. We couldn’t have done it without our loyal advertising partners and our LPJ readers. We look forward to continuing to grow and advance.”
