Woman allegedly damages two vehicles in domestic
A Grambling woman was arrested last week after the Lincoln Parish Sheriff’s Office investigated a domestic incident.
Takel D. Walker, 26, was arrested for damaging private property and reckless driving after deputies interviewed the involved parties in the parking lot of the Grambling Police Department on December 31.
The man who had called the Sheriff’s Office said he and his ex-girlfriend, Walker, had an argument over money for fireworks. He said Walker showed up at his sister’s house, so he left. The man said Walker chased him on La. Highway 563 and struck his vehicle with hers. She allegedly followed him into the GPD parking lot where she struck a Grambling officer’s personal vehicle.

Walker denied hitting the man’s vehicle and denied chasing him. She said she was just following him because he was supposed to give her money for fireworks.
Walker admitted having four children between the ages of 2 and 6 inside her vehicle while chasing the man.
Deputies saw deep scratches on the driver’s side fender and bumper of the man’s vehicle and corresponding damage to Walker’s vehicle. Minor damage was also found on the officer’s personal car.
Walker was booked for two counts of simple criminal damage to property and reckless operation. Her bail was set at $11,500.
