Woman violates protective order during disturbance

Lincoln Parish deputies arrested an Arcadia woman last Saturday after she reportedly caused a disturbance and violated a protective order.

When deputies arrived at Pine Ridge Apartments on U.S. 80 on January 25, they saw De’anguenita Marshay Bellard, 29, banging on doors. She appeared extremely intoxicated, according to a deputy’s report.

Deputies determined Bellard had violated a protective order by approaching too close to the protected person. Bellard resisted efforts to handcuff her and take her into custody. After repeated commands to stop resisting, Ballard was handcuffed and taken to the Lincoln Parish Detention Center where she was booked for violation of a protective order, resisting an officer, and disturbing the peace by appearing intoxicated in public.

Bellard’s bail was set at $1,500.
