Jarvis Christian is an NAIA program that competes in the Red River Athletic Conference. The Bulldogs have played three games this season, defeating University of St. Mary, 62-58, while falling to Texas Wesleyan and Philander Smith College by scores of 76-69 and 76-62, respectively.
Leland Kirkendall came off the bench to score a team-high 24 points in their season opener against Texas Wesleyan. A trio of Bulldogs – Desmond McNiel, Mcshane Wyatt and Semaj Matthews – combined for 40 of their 62 points in the four-point win against the University of St. Mary.
