Lincoln Parish deputies made one arrest Tuesday after investigating an alleged domestic abuse complaint.
Tuesday afternoon deputies responded to a Campbell Road residence regarding a report a man had hit a woman. The woman stated she returned home without items Chad Brady, 50, had wanted from the store. She said Brady struck her repeatedly on the leg and attempted to hit her with a TV tray, but she blocked the blow. She said she used her hands to protect her face from blows.
Deputies observed a cut and a bruise on the woman’s leg and a suspected defensive wound on her hand.
Deputies were taken to a nearby residence by a witness and allowed inside to locate Brady, who was found seated on a couch with a shotgun across his lap. He was disarmed and arrested for domestic abuse battery without further incident.
