The Dixie Center for the Arts has announced its intention to form a traditional Mardi Gras Krewe in Ruston as a primary fundraiser for the Dixie Center.
This krewe will oversee Mardi Gras activities such as a parade, ball, and other functions associated with Mardi Gras.
The primary focus and mission of the Dixie Center for the Arts is to be the home and heart of the arts in North Central Louisiana. The Krewe of Allegro functions to ensure the continued support of the DCA and to maintain the Historic Dixie Theater in Downtown Ruston while aiding in community growth.
An Interest meeting will be held for those who are willing to assist in the formation of this Krewe. For information on this meeting date please watch the Dixie’s Facebook page for updates.
