iShuttle will launch free transportation service for students at Louisiana Tech University today.
The shuttles will run Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m.
iShuttle’s transportation services will be free to students. Shuttles accommodate 24 passengers and will follow a convenient, fixed 20-minute route.
“Students can park and ride the shuttle to designated drop off and pick up points around campus, including Homer Street between the new Integrated Engineering and Science Building and Tech Pointe,” said Dr. Dickie Crawford, Vice President for Student Advancement. “Based on shuttle use and demand, the route and some pick-up and drop-off areas may be adjusted throughout the fall and winter quarters.”
Charter transportation services through iShuttle also will be available for student clubs, fraternities and sororities, with a 10% discount off regularly priced services.
